At CL-CP center, every year, we send the highest no. of candidates from a single location in India to the IIMs and National Law Universities.
Traditionally, 25% of students at CL's CP Center are from places like Meerut, Patna, Muzaffarpur, Sonipat, Aligarh, Karnal, Panipat, Alwar, Bareilly, Bhagalpur, etc.
When they arrive in Delhi, typically, they face issues of accommodation, food, transport, and safety. This limited-seat CL-CP Residential Program is an outcome of their feedback.
After completing his graduation from Patna College; Ajay shifted to Delhi to prepare for CAT. He enrolled with us, at our CP Center. With great difficulty, he found accommodation at Model Town, in north Delhi. Over 8-9 months, Ajay worked really hard. As he used to commute 10-12 km one way, he made it a point to spend 3-4 hours over and above his class schedule to solve doubts and for personalized mentoring.
In CAT 2016, Ajay scored 98%-ile; and is currently pursuing PGP from IIM Lucknow.
Shikha was a BA History (Hons) student from Aligarh University. In the final year of her graduation, she decided to appear for CAT. Like many of her seniors, she came to Delhi; and enrolled at our CP center. She found it difficult to study late at night; and struggled all through her 6-month stay in Delhi. After CAT 2017, she returned to Aligarh to complete her graduation.
Shikha scored 96%-ile. She came back to Delhi in January 2018 to prepare for the second stage of the B-school selection process. She is hopeful of making it to one of the top 15 B-schools.
In his own words, Pawan was "an average student". With a score of 70% in Class X, 65% in Class XII, and 62% in Graduation he was sure he would not make it to the IIMs. Still he had come to Delhi, right after completing his graduation, to give MBA entrance exams like CAT his best shot. He joined our CP Center. The struggle of managing his stay, food, commute, etc., was taxing. But he stuck to his task for the next 6-8 months.
In CAT 2015, Pawan scored 95%-ile; and went on to pursue his MBA from MDI Gurgaon. He is currently working with Infosys, Bangalore.
