SNAP 2021 Slot 2 Section-wise Analysis

SNAP 2021 Slot 2: General English

The General English section has stuck to the pattern that SNAP followed in 2020. There was no Reading Comprehension which saves a lot of time. There were a number of questions on Grammar including on Parts of Speech, and sentence correction. Overall the paper was easy and more importantly, all the 15 questions could be read and attempted by a decently well-read/prepared student in less than 10 minutes.

The topic-wise breakup of the General English section is given below:

Topic Number of Questions Difficulty Level
Proverb 1 Easy

A good student is expected to answer all the questions or almost all the questions in about 8 to 10 minutes. A good score in this section would be 10+ marks

SNAP 2021 Slot 2 Analytical & Logical Reasoning

This section has always been a favourite of SNAP. This section is completely unlike that of CAT or XAT and one would find the areas such as Letter Series, Number Series, Blood Relations, Input-Output and such types in the Analytical reasoning area. Within Logical reasoning, the verbal logic questions such as Statements and Assumptions, Conclusions, Courses of Action and such types have made an appearance in the SNAP 2021 paper much similar to the ones that have come in the previous SNAP papers.

A good student would have attempted almost all the 25 questions save one or two in the Number Series / Missing Number series type of questions.
