Central University of Jammu was established in 2011 by the Universities Act 2009, with an objective to be a leading centre of higher learning, integrating culture, knowledge, philosophy, science and value system of our heritage with modern and emerging concepts, skills, technology and management practice. Central University of Jammu UG Admission Process 2022

Each of the courses have different eligibility for admission. To be eligible for admissions, one must fulfill all the criteria as laid down by the respective faculty of the University.

Integrated B.Sc. (Hons) Botany: The Minimum 50% marks or its equivalent on the Grading Scale of respective Boards/ Universities at XII level with Biology/Botany as one of the subjects and CUET score as decided by the university.
Integrated B.Sc. (Hons) Zoology: The minimum marks i.e., 50% or its equivalent on the Grading Scale of respective Boards at class XII level with Biology/Zoology as one of the subjects and CUET score as decided by the university.
Integrated B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry: The minimum 50% marks or its equivalent on the Grading Scale of respective Boards at XII level with Chemistry as one of the subjects and CUET score as decided by the university.
Integrated B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics: The minimum 50% marks or its equivalent on the Grading Scale of respective Boards/ Universities at XII level with Physics & Mathematics as subjects and CUET score as decided by the university.
B.Voc. - Retail Management: a) To be eligible for a bachelor’s vocational degree program of study, a candidate must have secured a min 45% marks in class XII level of a recognized Board of School Education or an equivalent certification level, admission to first semester or level 4 of bachelor’s vocational degree program under NSQF can be made as per the following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by Advisory Committee of Bachelors of Vocational Degree Programs:

Category -1: Candidates who have already acquired prescribed NSQF certification level in a particular industry sector and opted for admission in the bachelor’s or vocational degree program under the same sector for which he/she was previously certified at school level.

Category-2: Those who have acquired the requisite NSQF certification Level but may like to change their sector and may enter in B.Voc. course in a different sector.

Category-3: Those who have passed the class XII examination with conventional schooling without any vocational training.

Category-4: Those who have qualified equivalent examination from a polytechnic in the same field are also eligible. b) Equal weightage would be given to vocational subjects at XII level while considering them for admission

B.Voc.- Banking & Financial Service: a) To be eligible for admission to a bachelor’s vocational degree, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in class XII level of a recognized Board of School Education or an equivalent certification level, admission to the first semester of bachelor’s vocational degree program under NSQF can be made as per the following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by Advisory Committee of Bachelors of Vocational Degree Programs:
Integrated B.A & B.Ed.: Having qualified class XII from a recognized board with 50% of total marks and CUET score as decided by the university.

Central University of Jammu Reservation Policy UG Programs:

Schedule Caste (SC): 15% of the total seats are reserved for students who belong to the SC category.
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for students belonging to the ST category.
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27% of the total intake is reserved for students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), excluding those from the creamy layer. Also, a Central List of Caste is to be followed.
Economically Weaker Section (EWS): The University has reserved 10% seats for the EWS category, in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Education.
Persons with Disability (PWD): 3% of the seats are reserved on a horizontal basis for students from the PWD category.
