IIFT 2023 just got concluded. The exam pattern for IIFT 2023 is the same as last year with 110 questions to be attempted in 2 hours. The paper is divided into 4 sections.
The level of difficulty of Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability was difficult as compared to last year. The division of questions for DI and LR was 16 and 14 respectively with a similar level of difficulty to IIFT 2022. The QA section was difficult with a bulk of questions from arithmetic and algebra. The General Awareness section was similar to last year and had static and current affairs questions.
Overall, IIFT 2023 was slightly difficult in comparison to IIFT 2022.

The Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension section was moderate to difficult. The 35 questions in this section comprised 16 questions on RCs and the remaining 19 questions from the various topics of Verbal Ability.
The VA section focused mostly on vocabulary including synonyms, antonyms, and one-word-substitutions. A good attempt in VA would have been 8- 10 questions.
This year, the RC section had a higher number of inferential questions. The structure of the section also saw a change with 4 questions in each set as compared to last year’s breakup of 5 and 3 questions.

This section in IIFT 2023, in terms of the level of difficulty, was easy to moderate. In DI, out of 4 sets, 2 sets were easy and should have been attempted. On the other hand, in LR, 10 to 12 questions could have been attempted.

The Quantitative Aptitude section of IIFT 2023 was moderate- difficult in terms of difficulty. The bulk of questions in this section were from arithmetic and algebra. Candidates could aim for a score of 20- 22 within an optimum time of 30 to 35 minutes.

The General Awareness section in IIFT 2023 was moderate in terms of the level of difficulty. There were questions from both Static GK and Current Affairs. It had 7-8 easy questions and the match-the-following questions were also straightforward and should have been attempted. A good score in this section would be 6+ marks.
Overall, as of now, it seems that a good score would be 97+ marks for IIFT 2023 (General Category)
