RBI Recruitment of Officers in Grade B (General) 2015

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Notification for recruitment of 134 officers in Grade B. Important dates for the same are:

On line registration of applications:October 5 to 23, 2015

Phase I Online Examination:November 21 and 22, 2015

Phase II Online Examination:December 7, 2015

Eligibility Requirements include:

Age (as on 01.10.2015):Between 21 and 30 years

Educational qualifications (as on 01.10.2015):For general candidates a first class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks and SC/ST/PWD candidates a second class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

Number of attempts:General Category candidates, who have already appearedSixtimes for Phase-I Examination for this post in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD, if the posts are reserved for them.

Scheme of Selection:

(I)Phase I via online examination (Objective Type) of 200 marks.The paper would include tests on (i)General Awareness (ii) English

Language(iii)Quantitative Aptitude and(iv)Reasoning,with composite time of 120 minutes.

(II)Phase II via Online Examination (Objective Type/Descriptive Type):

The examination will consist of three papers including(i)Paper I Economic and Social Issues (Objective Type),

(ii)Paper II English(Descriptive Type)and(iii)Paper III Finance and Management or Economics or Statistics.Each of these papers will be of 100 marks and for a duration of 3 hours.

(III)Interview:The Interview will be of 50 marks.Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.
