VITEEE Exam

VITEEE is an annual entrance exam conducted by VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) for admission in engineering courses at their university. They conduct this examination for two campuses i.e. Chennai and Vellore. The admission is done completely on the basis of performance in entrance.

 VITEEE Eligibility

General:

Those who are willing to appear for VITEEE should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology in the qualifying examination.

SC/ST and Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states:

Minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in class XII should be 50.

 VITEEE Exam Pattern

The examination has 125 questions divided in four sections; Physics, Chemistry, mathematics and English. All the questions are multiple choices with four options each.

1 mark is awarded for the every correct answer and there will be no negative marking. It will be a two and a half hour paper.

Each correct answer attracts 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. For every unanswered question,marks are neither be awarded nor be deducted.

  VITEEE Syllabus

The questions are asked from the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus only. It include topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English comprehension and basic grammar.
