IPMAT 2026 Syllabus
IPMAT & JIPMAT provide students an opportunity to pursue an IPM degree from IIMs right after class 12. The exam is separately conducted by IIM Rohtak and IIM Indore, and there is JIPMAT too. Similar to IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rohtak follows the same marking scheme. For every correct answer, the test-taker is awarded 4 marks, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
NOTE: Although it is mentioned on IIM Rohtak’s official website that there is a sectional time limit for each section, the same is never seen in the actual exam.
JIPMAT Syllabus 2026
The official websites haven't listed any syllabus, but we have analyzed past exams and pattern changes. Based on that, we have created a JIPMAT syllabus to help you understand the actual syllabus.
The JIPMAT syllabus (similar to IPMAT Indore & Rohtak) has three sections.
- Verbal Ability (VA): The most weighted section in both the JIPMAT and IPMAT Exams, the Verbal Ability section holds a lot of importance in getting you through the exam cut-off.
- Quantitative Ability (QA): Quantitative Ability is another section that is tested extensively in the IPM exams. It broadly includes all the important topics learned until the 12th standard
- Logical Reasoning: The Logical Reasoning section is only tested in the IPMAT Rohtak and JIPMAT exams. In comparison to the CAT exam, the difficulty level is much easier.
