  First Phase: The Written Test
This is the stage where students are required to take written tests as a first step to qualify for the B-school of their choice. These tests are conducted on an all-India level and their scores are evaluated. However, the number of students taking each test varies. Students are screened for the second phase on the basis of these scores.

The entrances broadly cover these areas:
  Quantitative Ability (QA)
Remember Class X Board Exam Math? That's what QA is all about. Some of the topics that you need to deal with are number systems, arithmetic, geometry, algebra, permutation & combination and set theory.

  Data Interpretation (DI)

  General/Business Awareness (GA/BA)
If you have been in touch with current affairs and business events, you will enjoy this section. Except CAT, most tests have this section. Questions in this section cover static general knowledge, current affairs and business awareness.

  Analytical Reasoning (AR)
What kind of a thinker are you? This section has questions on data sufficiency and puzzles.
