An extremely malnourished CAT (just 75 questions! ) The VA section - imported straight away from Her Majesty’s palace. The biggest surprise was that the perennial villain “Quant” turned saviour. Only the level of LRDI section was on the expected lines. Looking from a distance, a tame CAT with a ‘feel good’ experience all around.
However, as expected there were a few surprises. Prominent ones being:
- Five answer choices instead of the customary four, a la GRE / GMAT.
- Vocabulary seemed to have taken the curtain call.
- Every single question in VA was inferential with the options being extremely close; one felt the need for an electron microscope to discriminate amongst them.
- Grammar was so conspicuous by its absence
- Para Jumbles! Where art thou!
LRDI had no surprises. It was similar to the Mocks that you have been writing for the past three months (in fact, easier!!)
