MFC Entrance Test 2008 |
|
| |
Compared
to last year, this year’s written
test for MFC was relatively on the easier
side. Each section had 60 questions. As
usual, the major constituents of the Quantitative section
were Number System, Algebra and Geometry,
which accounted for as many as 43 out of
the 60 questions. The Data Interpretation
and Logical reasoning section had a
good mix of data sufficiency, proper DI
based questions and 5 moderate level questions
each from inferences, course of action,
assumption, assertion and reasoning category. Verbal
Ability was fairly straightforward
with questions on reading comprehension;
fill in the blanks, synonyms antonyms,
right meaning of the phrase and analogies. In fact, the verbal section was so
easy that one could easily have maximized the score in it.
Each question carried 1 mark, with negative
marks of 0.25 deducted for each wrong
answer.
One could have easily attempted close
to 140 questions within a span of 120 minutes.
With a realistic accuracy of 85% in such
a paper, an attainable score is around
120. |
