  Group Discussion
The discussion was good. There were supposed to be 16 candidates, of which 13 were present. We were divided into two groups – of 6 and 7 members each.

Both groups were asked to discuss “India”. Each of us was asked to make an introduction for 30 seconds, following which each group was given 10 minutes to discuses the topic.

At the end of the GD, we were given 5 minutes to write anything about the GD on a piece of paper.

Interview
There were two interviews: one technical and another for HR. The technical interview lasted for around 5 minutes. The HR interview lasted for around 12 minutes. In each interview the panel consisted of only one person, so there were just two people for the entire process.

The person who took the technical interview asked everyone about one key thing. I was asked:

  • Consider that I am a layman; tell me what has been the trend in the IT sector in the past, and what is the trend now.

For all candidates, he just replaced ‘IT’ with their relevant field.

Both interviewers asked the CAT percentile of all candidates and any other calls they may have received. If one had received any other calls, then he or she was asked the order of preference and why will they select GIM.
