	Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad
	Group Discussion Each person in our 10 member group was given a sheet of paper that listed 10 points discussed at an economic summit as action points to ensure the economic growth of India. We were then given 5 minutes to rate the points in an order of priority. After this, the group was given 20 minutes to discuss the points and reach a consensus on the top three priorities. It was an interesting change from the usual GDs that we see for most B-schools. The quality of discussion was quite high, everyone got a chance to put their views forth and the group managed to reach a consensus as well.

	Interview The interview panel consisted of a faculty member from MICA and an alumnus. The interview lasted about half an hour. I was first asked to sum up the performance of the group in the group exercise. After which we started talking about Formula1 1, since it was something that I had mentioned on the application form. Then I was asked if I thought tobacco advertising in Formula 1, like Marlboro sponsoring Ferrari, was ethical. The panel asked a number of other questions on whatever I had written on the form. However, the big question in the interview was why MICA?

	MICA Test (MICAT) There was a one hour test containing 20 word association questions, 40 psychometric questions and 3 subjective questions. Some of the questions were: Every year hundreds of villagers migrate to the metropolitan cities. What according to you should be done and why? How will you describe a bicycle and its uses to a Stone Age Man? Capital Punishment should be banned. Argue for or against the case. To sum up, it was a really fun process. My advice to people who are yet to take the process - just go and have fun.
