GHS-IMR has come a long way since 1985, which has unique digitized learning centre and equip all the relevant information available at a click for emerging global managers who go through the grind to prepare themselves with right skills and expertise to achieve world class standards in various functional areas of management. GHS-IMR facilitates an in-house auditorium that act as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. It has a seating capacity of 336 people.
Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management & Research popularly known as GHS-IMR was established in 1995 with the benevolence and support of reputed J.K. Organisation. It is one of the leading management institute approved by AICTE, MHRD, Govt of India, imparts two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Till now more than 1100 students have passed out from the institute and are on the posts of Directors, Vice Presidents in reputed MNCs & Indian companies. Institute is having academic exchange programmes with universities of UK, US & China for students.. The institute also has international affiliations from AIMS International, GBMF (USA), USTC China, UWE UK for faculty exchange and research programmes.
GHS-IMR aims to develop professional managers for corporate sector and do empirical and analytical research in social and corporate sector, to serve people of India and foster the nation's progress. The target of our program extends beyond organized sectors of economy to small enterprises, NGOs, Welfare Organizations, etc. GHS-IMR aims at developing technical, professional and managerial excellence, and social and cultural sensitivity. It has also concern for environment, besides management ethics. The academic programs strive to impart management education and equip the student community with more effective techniques and decision-making abilities and also extend impetus to budding manager for excellence in the area of management.
The entire learning process at GHS-IMR is focused on inculcating in participants sensitivity to real-world issues and an ability to become leaders in their chosen fields. Adaptability to change is the driving force in our efforts to produce valued and socially responsive managers at GHS-IMR. Our high tolerance for change has allowed us to leverage IT in achieving our goals, and today world-class infrastructure and facilities support our programs.
The institute has exhibited distinctive performance across a spectrum of management and social fields and this has been made possible through its internal clubs which are constantly engaged in nurturing the passion towards a more enhanced role in social ethos and also imbibing better and innovative management practices. The institute has Four Clubs: Acumen – Finance club; Niche – Marketing Club; Titans – Human Resource Club; Parivartan – A social cultural club aiming to fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility. All the clubs will be conducting games within their domains to make the event a multifaceted and versatile experience for all. |
