GPSC Exam pattern will have changes in fresh Recruitment
According to the changes made by the Gujarat govt., there has been a change into the GPSC exam pattern, From Now onwards there shall be MCQ types of question Paper. In addition, there is also a change in Combined Gujarat Civil service exam Pattern. As a result, three stage exam patterns shall be implemented. The changes made by the Gujarat govt. in the notification are as follows:
According to the changes made by the Gujarat govt., there has been a change into the GPSC exam pattern, From Now onwards there shall be MCQ types of question Paper. In addition, there is also a change in Combined Gujarat Civil service exam Pattern. As a result, three stage exam patterns shall be implemented. The changes made by the Gujarat govt. in the notification are as follows:
- The competitive Exams will be held in two languages - Gujarati as well as in English
- The maximum age limit increase 2 years from 28 to 30.
- The preliminary exam content will be objective type which includes verbal skills (150 marks), Reasoning (150 marks) and General knowledge (200 marks) are included.
- The selection of the candidates from prelim to mains will be of 6 times to the numbers of vacancies.
- In mains, there will be 5 subjects: Gujarati (200 marks), English (100 marks), Optional subject – descriptive (200 marks), GK I & II – Objective(200 marks each)
- GK paper-I includes - History & Culture of Gujarat, General Economic matters, Public administration and subject related to state Govt services.
- GK paper-II includes – Current affairs, geography, science & Technology, ethic & integrity
- The selection of the candidates from mains to interview will be of 3 times to the numbers of vacancies. Earlier this interview was of 100 marks. Blind candidate will avail 20 minutes more in objective test and 30 minutes more in subjective.
