Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the advt. for recruitment of 117 officers in Grade B.

Age (as on 01.06.2014): Between 21 and 30 years
For candidates possessing M.Phil qualification, upper age limit will be 31 years
For candidates possessing Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 33 years
Educational qualifications (as on 01.06.2014): For general candidates a first class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks
SC/ST/PWD candidates a second class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks
Scheme of selection:
(I) Phase I on line examination (Objective Type): 200 marks
The paper consists tests of i) General Awareness ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude and iv) Reasoning, with composite time of 130 minutes.
(II) Phase II Written Examination (Descriptive Type):
The examination will consist of three Descriptive Type papers
(i) Paper I English
(ii) Paper II Economic and Social Issues and
(iii) Paper III Finance and Management.
Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.
(III) Interview
Number of attempts: 4 attempts for general category

August 2,3,9,10, 2014.
Phase II Written Examination (Descriptive Type):
September, October 2014 (tentative)
