Arc Intensive Classroom Program (AIEEE)
Target Segment:
Students who are studying in class XII and preparing for engineering entrance examinations as:
- All India Engineering Entrance Examination: The examination is conducted by CBSE and based on the ranks in these examination, the seats are filled for more than 100 engineering colleges. However, the prominent seats are :
- 50% of seats in NITs
- Prestigious Engineering colleges such as BITs Mesra, Thapar Institute of Technology etc….

- BITSAT: The ranks in the examination are used for admissions in to BITs Pilani, Goa and Dubai.

Value Proposition:
For AIEEE Intensive program, the main theme of value proposition is as follows:
- A total of more than 140 hours of classroom sessions
- The sessions to cover topics in all the three subjects that account for more than 80% of marks in AIEEE.
- The focus of the program is to improve rank by focused & structured revision of subjects.
- Each classroom session of 150 minute will comprise of teaching/revision of concepts, class exercise, discussion of class exercise and doubt clarification of the topic.
- Five mock tests (3 AIEEE and 2 Mock BITSAT computerized)
- Each classroom session will be supported by study material and class exercise.
- Teacher will use computerized sessions as a tool to enhance the pace of revision as well as better absorption of concepts, esp. in the topics such as solid state in chemistry.
Program Variants:
There are two variants for this program available form September 25th:
Intensive Classroom Program (AIEEE):
ICP (AIEEE) will prepare student mainly for AIEEE after board examination staring from March 25th. Prior to board, students will be provided with the study material and orientation session.
Program Features: Intensive Classroom Program (AIEEE):
The program will have a total academic delivery of more than 150 hours. The program is to have following modules:
A. Subject Sessions : ( 56 sessions of 150 minute each )
- Sessions devised based on the analysis of the last three year’s papers of DCE and AIEEE and the analysis of last few years papers of DCE entrance examinations.
- The sessions cover the most relevant topics for the AIEEE (Approx. 90 % of coverage marks wise).
- There will be subject sessions on five days and a Mock test on each Sunday.
- Two sessions (of the same subject) will be conducted on a day.
- Each session will be of 150 minutes duration.
- 90 minutes are to be utilized in concept revision
- 30-minute class exercise on the session
- 30 minutes for discussion on the class test and concepts revision.
- Each session is supported by workbook/ Mock test and session ppts.

Assumption: The start date has been taken as 24th March 2009, assuming the CBSE Board exams are primarily over by then.
B. Mock Tests and Analysis: (5 Mock Tests)
Mock AIEEE: There will be three mock tests on the basis of the pattern of AIEEE.
The result and the performance analysis related to the tests will be made available on the website with in four working days of conducting the test.
Mock BITSAT: The students will be provided with Two computer based BITSAT mocks.
C. Study Material:
Student Workbooks: There is one workbook for each subject (P,C, M). It is organized session-wise and each session contains a summary of important formulae/laws/facts followed by a pre-session exercise and a practice exercise. Each of these exercises has 15 questions. The answer keys for these are at the end of the workbook.
Solution books: There is a solution book for each workbook. It contains the solutions to the pre-session and practice exercises.
Class Exercises: There is a class exercise for each session. These exercises will be in a tear-away form. Each class exercise contains 15 questions to be done by the students immediately after the concept revision is over. No solutions will be provided for the class exercise.
