1) Who can participate?

• If you are under the age of 25 and a graduate or pursuing graduation, then you are eligible to participate in Tycoons 2010.
• The event is open to students from all academic streams: engineering, medical, commerce, arts, management, science, law, etc and also to professionals (under 25) working after their graduation.
• Tycoons 2010 is an individual event. All participants will compete as solo contestants
• To participate in Tycoons 2010, you must register – either online or through the selection rounds conducted in your college.
• In case you are a working professional or live in a city where Tycoons College Rounds are not being conducted or could not qualify for the city finals through the college rounds in your college, then you must register for the event online and take the online quiz.

  Clearing the online rounds gives you a chance to win ‘wild-card’ entry into the regional finals as 50 of top online scorers get a chance to get direct entry into the Regional Final Round, bypassing the City Final Round.

2) How can I register online?

Just follow these simple steps to register for Tycoons 2010 online

1. Create your unique Tycoons account on our website:
• click on the Register  link.
• Fill-up the registration form. Make sure that all form is complete and all the information you have entered is correct.
• Click the Submit button.
• If your form is complete and has been submitted successfully, you will receive an email containing a link to confirm your email address.
• Confirm your email id and your registration will be complete.
• Take a printout of the registration confirmation page/email. If you qualify for the next round, you will have to bring this printout with you.
• Your email id will be your login for the Tycoons website.

3) How is the online round conducted?
• The Online Prelims will an online test comprising 50 questions (to be attempted in 25 minutes) and each participant is allowed an unlimited number of attempts. The questions in this multiple-choice test will test your general awareness and require zero preparation. If after a single attempt you are not happy with your answers, you can take the test again – as many times as you like!
