Career Benefits

The worldwide acceptance of IFRS has created a high demand for IFRS professionals. Companies prefer to recruit candidates who have an expertise in these international standards in addition to their regular specialization in finance & accounting. The importance of this profession is more relevant now as there is a lack of experts in this area. The career options available to an IFRS Professional are as follows:

  • IFRS professionals are hired by Advisory Companies as consultants whose primary role is to offer advisory services to accounting and finance firms. Similarly, audit firms require such professions for giving excellent IFRS implementation to their client companies.
  • The demand for IFRS professionals in the banking & insurance sector has been unusually high ever since they received guidelines to implement IFRS from 1 April 2021.
  • Skilled and experienced IFRS experts can begin their own private consultancy for firms and enhance their income potential.
