About DU JAT

Delhi University Joint Admission Test, commonly known as DU JAT, is a national level exam conducted by the Delhi University for admission into specific Undergraduate Courses. The list includes BMS, BBA(FIA), BBE and with the upcoming year will include the prized B.Com and B.Com (Hons.). The exam is conducted online, once every year.

DU-JAT Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should have passed/appeared for his/her HSC from a recognized board or board equivalent by the University of Delhi
  • Candidates must have a minimum of: General/OBC - 60% | SC/ST - 50% | CW/PwD - 54% | aggregate in the qualifying examination
  • The minimum aggregate in the qualifying examination is based on simple average of the percentage scored in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other subjects

DU JAT Exam Pattern

  • The paper pattern comprises four sections: General Awareness, General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude
  • The time allotted is 120 minutes
  • The total no of questions is 100
  • Each question carries four marks. There is negative marking of one mark for every incorrect answer

DU JAT Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is purely based on merit determined through combined scores of DU JAT (65%) and marks in HSC (35%).
