About IPMAT


IPMAT is the acronym for Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test and is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Indore. It is a Five year undergraduate, National Program.

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria


  • Students who have passed the higher secondary examination from a recognized board or university can apply for IPMAT 2016.
  • Candidates appearing for the final examination of Higher Secondary/XII Std. / +2 level / equivalent and those who have completed the examination and are awaiting results can also apply.
  • The age limit is for general and NC-OBC Category must not be more than 20 years as on July 31, 2016.
  • Final selection based on Aptitude test (60%) and Personal Interview (40%)

IPMAT Selection Procedure


Selection is the process of choosing the most suitable student out of all applicants and the selection process varies for different colleges and exams. Based on the different selection criteria students are selected for a particular course.

The selection procedure of IPMAT is based on 2 factors :

  • Performance in the Aptitude Test
  • Performance in Personal Interview

IPMAT Exam Pattern


It is a 120 minute exam in which the candidate is expected to answer 100 questions. There is a negative marking of 1/4 marks.
