St. Xavier’s BMS Entrance exam 2021 Registration 

Registrations for St. Xavier’s BMS 2021 will be done in online mode, tentatively in the first week of May 2021. Aspirants should be familiar with the eligibility criteria before registering for the exam. Candidates are advised to download the receipt for the application fee sent to the registered email address for future reference. 


Documents needed for Registration 

Following documents should be kept ready for the St Xavier’s BMS entrance exam registration process: 

  • Original and scanned copy of class 12th Marksheet (may be required)

  • Original and scanned copy of class 10th Marksheet 

  • Recent passport size colour photograph (both original and scanned)

  • Scanned copy of the signature

St. Xavier’s BMS Entrance exam 2021Admit Card 

The admit card for St. Xavier’s BMS will be available for download in online mode. The admit card will only be issued to the candidates who have completed their registration and application process. The admit card is a critical document to have on the day of the examination.  


St. Xavier’s BMS Entrance exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria  

To be eligible for St. Xavier’s BMS entrance exam the candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria. 

  • Candidate should have graduated from the 12th examination from Maharashtra State Board. If a candidate has graduated from any other board he/she must issue the provisional eligibility certificate from the University of Mumbai. 

  • Candidate must be below 23 years as on 1st June 2021.

  • Relevant certificates must be produced by the candidate belonging to reserved categories. 

  • To be eligible for St. Xavier’s BMS entrance exam, the candidate must have secured 65% (General); 60% (Christian minority); 55% (SC/ST), in Class XII.

St. Xavier’s BMS Entrance exam 2021 Exam Pattern 

  • St. Xavier’s BMS entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode (OMR sheet)

  • The exam will be in MCQ format and will carry a total of 100 marks 

  • There will be no negative marking 

  • A simple calculator and black ballpoint pen will be allowed in the exam center

As St. Xavier’s College does not provide any specific syllabus for BMS entrance exam, students are advised to be thorough with class 10th syllabus among other boards.

St. Xavier's BMS Selection Procedure

St.  Xavier’s conducts a two-stage written test and interview process to select the students for the BMS program.

  • Stage 1 comprises written test with 100 questions in the areas of General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, Mathematics, English Language & Comprehension Skills, Logical & Visual Reasoning, and Critical Analysis.

  • A Call List for the Interview Round will be made by giving a 60% weightage to the test and 40% weightage to the qualifying XII examination.

  • Stage 2 will be an interview cum written test (100 marks)

  • A Final Merit list will be made by giving a 70% weightage to the score obtained in Stage 2 and a 30% weightage to the score obtained in Stage 1.
