The IIM Sirmaur BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) is a four-year undergraduate management programme designed for students who have completed or are appearing for Class 12. Offered by the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur, the programme combines management fundamentals to build a strong foundation for higher education and future career opportunities.

The IIM-Sirmaur’s 4-Year Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) Program is particularly beneficial for students who exhibit the following characteristics and aspirations:

IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore. Applicants register for it on the IIM Indore portal and pay the test fee to IIM Indore. IIM Sirmaur has no role in IPMAT registration, fee collection, or conduct.
Admission is confirmed only after the marksheets and passing certificates are submitted. Pending marksheets and provisional certificates must reach the institute by the deadline it sets, and all documents are verified in original. Falling short of the minimum marks cancels the provisional admission, and any misrepresentation or suppression of information leads to disqualification.
IIM Sirmaur selects BMS students in two phases.
In Phase 1, candidates are shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their IPMAT ATS and category-wise cutoffs. The ATS is calculated as 25% of the Quantitative Ability (MCQ) marks, 25% of the Quantitative Ability (SA) marks, and 50% of the Verbal Ability (MCQ) marks.
In Phase 2, the final selection uses a composite score out of 100.

IIM Sirmaur BMS fees for the 2026-30 Batch is Rs 22,73,000 across eight semesters, charged semester-wise. A refundable caution money of Rs 20,000 is charged separately.

Year-wise, the fee is Rs 6,08,000 for Year 1 (Semesters I and II), Rs 5,65,000 for Year 2, Rs 5,35,000 for Year 3 and Rs 5,65,000 for Year 4. Year 3 is lower because no hostel charge applies in Semester VI.
Candidates who accept an offer pay an acceptance fee to reserve the seat. Tuition fee, hostel charges, alumni fee, mediclaim fee, and refundable caution money are charged in the amounts and by the timelines given in the offer letter.
The programme has multiple exit options in line with NEP 2020. A student who leaves after a given year receives the award below.

It is a four-year Bachelor of Management Studies programme at IIM Sirmaur, spread over eight semesters with multiple exit options under NEP 2020.
IIM Sirmaur uses the IPMAT Aptitude Test Score from IIM Indore. Candidates register for IPMAT with IIM Indore.
A candidate needs to have passed or be appearing for Class 12, with at least 60% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12, a valid IPMAT score, and an age of up to 20 years as of 1 August 2026. A five-year age relaxation applies to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Students have four exit options under the programme:
Students who successfully complete the BMS programme with at least 8.0 CGPA are eligible to be promoted to the institute's MBA programme.
Enrolled students can apply for scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal, subject to the eligibility criteria of each scheme. IIM Sirmaur has also empanelled banks for education loans.
