The NPAT 2026 admit card is generated automatically after the candidate successfully schedules their exam date and test centre on the registration portal. It is available for download from the candidate's dashboard on the NMIMS portal at any time before the exam date.
Key points regarding the NPAT 2026 admit card:
The NPAT 2026 requires candidates to answer 120 questions in 100 minutes - under 50 seconds per question. Consistent, timed preparation is the key to performing well. The following tips will help candidates maximise their score:
Understand the Syllabus and Exam Pattern: Familiarise yourself with all three sections before starting preparation. Use the official NMIMS notification as your reference for the latest syllabus.
The NMIMS NPAT selection process is straightforward. The merit list is compiled based on the candidate's performance in the CBT entrance examination and the qualifying examination (Class 12) results. The decision regarding the cut-off of the merit list rests solely with SVKM's NMIMS.
Note: NMIMS will start a program only if a minimum of 20 candidates have taken admission. If this threshold is not met, tuition fees of admitted students will be refunded, or students will be offered admission to other programs based on seat availability.

SVKM's NMIMS will release the NPAT 2026 results in the form of a merit list on the official website (nmims.edu/result). Candidates can check the merit list using their registration ID and date of birth.
As per the updated schedule, the counselling call letter and merit list for NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT / NMIMS-MST will be declared in the first week of June 2026.
This is brief information about the SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies NPAT 2026. Aspiring students must follow all the details mentioned here and also refer to the official NMIMS NPAT website and prepare effectively for the test.
Note: Campus-specific admission counselling rounds will also be organised separately at the Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh campuses in June 2026 for candidates interested in taking admission only at those respective campuses. This facility avoids the need to travel to the Mumbai campus. For candidates who miss the campus counselling round, admissions to all campuses will be conducted as per the schedule announced in the first week of June.
NPAT stands for National Test for Programs After Twelfth. It is conducted by SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for UG admissions.
NMIMS NPAT 2026 registration opened on January 28, 2026 and will remain open until May 26, 2026. Registration is available only in online mode at nmims.edu.
Yes. As per the updated official notification, the NMIMS merit list considers both the candidate's CBT entrance exam score and qualifying examination (Class 12) results. The minimum eligibility for most programs is 50% aggregate in Class 12 (60% for BBA International Business with Kingston University). Candidates must ensure they enter accurate Class 12 marks in the registration form - incorrect information will result in disqualification.
A candidate is permitted 1 main attempt and up to 2 retakes per exam category - a total of 3 attempts. Retakes can be registered for at the time of initial registration or added later, subject to the condition that the main exam has not yet been completed.
The highest marks scored across all attempts (main + retakes) will be considered for the respective school's merit process.
A candidate may add a preferred school until the main examination has been attempted. Once the main exam is completed, no new school can be added in the same exam category for retakes. However, a new exam category (e.g., adding NMIMS-CET after completing NMIMS-NPAT main) can be added.
Candidates may select up to five program preferences while applying for NPAT 2026.
NMIMS conducts four UG entrance examinations for the academic year 2026-27: (1) NMIMS-NPAT for Commerce, Economics, Branding, Liberal Arts, International Business, and Family Business Management programs; (2) NMIMS-CET for Engineering and Pharmacy; (3) NMIMS-MST for Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science; and (4) NMIMS-LAT for Law programs.
The counselling call letter and merit list for NPAT 2026 will be declared in the first week of June 2026, as per the latest official notification.
