SET 2026 Application Process

The SET application form 2026 was released in December 2025. Students can visit the official website - set-test.org/, for SET registration and fill out the SET 2026 application form till April 15. The entire registration and application process of SET 2026 is an online process.

Students wishing to appear for the SET must complete the online application form within the deadline. All the information needs to be filled correctly; any discrepancy might lead to the cancellation of candidature.

Step-by-step SET 2026 application process:

SET 2026 Registration: Visit the official website, click on "New Registration," and enter personal details (name, date of birth, gender, email ID, phone number, etc.).
Click on 'Save and Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email ID that you have entered.
After this, you will receive the SET ID and password.
Fill Application Form: Log in to fill in academic details, choose test centres, and select institutes.
Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
Fee Payment: Pay the SET application fee (INR 2250) and the program//institute fee (INR 1000) using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Submit & Print: Verify all details before submitting and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Please note that payment of only the SET 2026 registration fee will not make you eligible for shortlisting in any program, regardless of your SET score. Both the registration and program fees must be paid to be considered for shortlisting and admission.

Failure to pay any particular program fee will result in the application for that specific program not being considered.

SET Application Fees 2026

Students must pay a definite fee to complete their SET application form. Any form without a successful payment will be considered incomplete and rejected.

The SET registration fee is INR 2250/- per test.
Furthermore, for each program students want to apply for, they must pay INR 1000 per program/institute.
Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Every student must fulfill the SET 2026 eligibility criteria to apply and be eligible for BBA admission to any of the constituent Symbiosis Institutes. The brief SET 2026 eligibility criteria have been discussed below.

Candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exams in the relevant stream from any recognized board or university with a minimum of 50% marks.
The qualifying mark is 45% for SC/ST category students, depending on the specific institute.
Candidates in Class XII awaiting their results are also eligible to apply, but they have to procure a marksheet or passing certificate at the time of admission.
Candidates who have completed Class XII or equivalent exam from any Foreign Board must have an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
A minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required at the end of Semester 6 to opt for Honours with research.
