SET 2027 is the sole gateway for admission to undergraduate courses at Symbiosis Institutes. It covers courses like -

• BBA (Honours / Honours with Research)
• BCA / BBA (Information Technology)
• B.A. (Mass Communication / Liberal Arts)
• B.Sc (Economics / Applied Statistics & Data Science)
• Sport & Exercise Science
• Dual Degree programs (If applicable)

Note: Engineering aspirants need to take SITEEE 2027. It is a separate test, which is also conducted on the same dates.

SET 2027 Exam Dates

The Symbiosis Institute is expected to conduct the SET Exam 2027 in two slots, based on the previous year's schedule. The official SET 2027 exam dates are yet to be announced. Students may have the option to appear for both slots, with the higher score considered for the final percentile, as per the applicable rules. Students opting for both slots will be required to pay the additional fee during registration.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2027

Every student must fulfill the SET 2027 eligibility criteria to apply and be eligible for BBA admission to any of the constituent Symbiosis Institutes. The brief SET 2027 eligibility criteria have been discussed below.

• Candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exams in the relevant stream from any recognized board or university with a minimum of 50% marks.
• The qualifying mark is 45% for SC/ST category students, depending on the specific institute.
• Candidates in Class XII awaiting their results are also eligible to apply, but they have to procure a marksheet or passing certificate at the time of admission.
• Candidates who have completed Class XII or equivalent exam from any Foreign Board must have an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
• A minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required at the end of Semester 6 to opt for Honours with research.

SET 2027 Application Process

The SET application form 2027 will be released in December 2026, based on the previous year’s schedule. Students can visit the official website: set-test.org, for SET registration and complete the application form by the expected deadline. The entire registration and application process is expected to be conducted online.

Students wishing to appear for the SET must complete the online application form within the deadline. All the information needs to be filled correctly; any discrepancy might lead to the cancellation of candidature.

Step-by-step SET 2027 application process:

• SET 2027 Registration: Visit the official website, click on "New Registration," and enter personal details (name, date of birth, gender, email ID, phone number, etc.).
• Click on 'Save and Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email ID that you have entered.
• After this, you will receive the SET ID and password.
• Fill Application Form: Log in to fill in academic details, choose test centres, and select institutes.
• Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
• Fee Payment: Pay the SET application fee (INR 2250) and the program//institute fee (INR 1000) using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• Submit & Print: Verify all details before submitting and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Please note that payment of only the SET 2027 registration fee will not make you eligible for shortlisting in any program, regardless of your SET score. Both the registration and program fees must be paid to be considered for shortlisting and admission.

Failure to pay any particular program fee will result in the application for that specific program not being considered.

SET Application Fees 2027

Students must pay a definite fee to complete their SET application form. Any form without a successful payment will be considered incomplete and rejected.

• The SET registration fee is INR 2250/- per test.
• Furthermore, for each program students want to apply for, they must pay INR 1000 per program/institute.
• Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SET 2027 Selection Process

The SET 2027 Selection procedure involves two steps:

• Step 1: Shortlisting Based on Entrance Exam (SET) Scores
