XAT, or Xavier Aptitude Test, is a highly competitive national-level exam conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI. It is known for being one of the toughest management entrance exams.
Here is a brief overview of the XAT 2025:
> It is a computer-based test conducted across 70+ cities in India.
> XAT 2025 consists of 5 sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension,
quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, decision-making, general knowledge and essay
writing.
> The duration of the XAT exam is 210 minutes.
> It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and one subjective question.
> For MCQs, there is an addition of 1 for each right answer and a deduction of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
The preparation of XAT is similar to that of CAT, but the only extra section that requires separate preparation in XAT is the decision-making section. The XAT notification for the 2025 intake has been released, and the registration for the same has started from 15th July 2024.
