What to Carry to the XAT Exam Centre

XLRI typically releases the detailed exam-day instructions along with the XAT admit card closer to the test date, so the exact list for XAT 2027 will be confirmed once the admit card is released.

Based on the requirements followed for XAT 2026, candidates were generally expected to carry the following items to their allotted exam centre:

• Printed copy of the XAT admit card
• One valid, original government-issued photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence)
• One recent passport-size photograph, the same as the one uploaded during registration
• Disability certificate and scribe affidavit, for PwD candidates availing scribe assistance, if applicable
• Any authorisation or name-change document, where applicable to the candidate's profile

As is standard practice at computer-based test centres, candidates were not permitted to carry electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators), bags, stationery, or study material inside the exam hall, since a scientific calculator is already provided on-screen. Candidates are advised to keep all required documents in a clear folder and reach the centre well ahead of the reporting time to complete verification smoothly.
