6 Months Plan for CUET 2024 Preparation

CUET preparation is quite challenging and requires students to be fully devoted during the preparation process as this exam is highly competitive. It is advised that students understand the exam pattern and plan their CUET preparation accordingly. Students must adhere to the study timetable in order to get a good score.

To put it, the ideal time for students to start preparing for this examination is to start as early as possible around six to nine months ahead, or to begin preparation along with their 12th standard studies. It is important to note that students must maintain a balance between their high school exam preparation and entrance exam preparation. Nevertheless, starting your CUET preparation journey six to nine months ahead will give students plenty of time to study the whole syllabus without having to compromise their board exam preparation. To get into more detail on how you should prepare for CUET, here are some tips for 6 months preparation plan for CUET 2024:

   >Months 1-2 Understand the Basics

– Weeks 1-2: Acquaint yourself with the CUET syllabus and exam pattern.  Pinpoint your strong and weak areas and different subjects.

– Weeks 3-4: Start learning the basics of each subject such as  Mathematics, English, General Knowledge, and Analytical Skills. Refer to NCERT books and other credible study materials for a firm foundation.

– Weeks 5-6: Concentrate on enhancing your English speaking/writing/sentence formation skills which include grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Look over newspapers, essays, and storybooks on a regular basis as this will help you to improve your overall skills.

   >Months 3-4: Mid-Level Preparation

– Weeks 1-2: Practice mathematics consistently. Try to solve various topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Go through past years’ question papers/sample papers and practice accordingly.

– Weeks 3-4: Brush up your general knowledge and current affairs. Check all the latest happenings both national and international issues and stay updated. Remember to read magazines, and newspapers, and watch documentaries for more insight. Follow credible news sources.

– Weeks 5-6: Work on enhancing your analytical skills. Solve questions on logical reasoning, puzzles, and analytical reasoning to improve your pace and accuracy.

   >Months 5-6: Revision and Mock Tests

– Weeks 1-2: Go through what you have studied. Concentrate on your strengths and weaknesses and keep solving more questions. Practice topic-wise questions to evaluate your comprehension skills.

– Weeks 3-4: Practice full-length mocks on a regular basis. Review your performance, point out patterns of errors, and try improving them. Mimic exam conditions to improve time management.

– Weeks 5-6: Revise what you have learned such as formulas, rules of grammar, and other crucial facts. Concentrate on time management during the exam. Practice more mocks and sample papers to strengthen your preparation.

Final Days

Stay calm and build your confidence. Don’t get too nervous. Be optimistic, get plenty of rest, and maintain a healthy diet. Go through important notes and techniques. Trust in yourself and believe that everything will go well.
