CUET 2024 Mega UG Entrance Test Begins Tomorrow – Latest Updates
CUET is the second biggest UG entrance exam in India. The third edition of the mega UG entrance test will mark its beginning tomorrow (May 15, 2024). As previously declared by the NTA, CUET (UG) will be conducted in a hybrid (Online & Offline) mode for the first time. The CUET (UG) 2024 will be conducted in two phases based on the exam modes. The details of the same is mentioned below:
> Phase I: Offline – Pen & paper mode – May 15 – 18.
> Phase II: Online – CBT mode – May 21 – 24
However, in a major development regarding exam updates, NTA, in a last-minute twist, rescheduled the offline exams scheduled for the entire day to May 29 (for Delhi centres only). The exams in all the other centres in the country and abroad, including the centres in Delhi-NCR, will be conducted as per schedule.
NTA cited manpower issues and some unavoidable circumstances as the driving issues for this decision. The detailed admit card for the students whose exam venue was Delhi will be issued later.
CUET (UG) will be the sole gateway for admission to 44+ central universities and selected courses at 200+ universities nationwide. Students must prepare well and perform their best to secure admission to top colleges and universities. All the students preparing year-long and gearing up for CUET (UG) 2024 are advised to hold their nerves and remain calm to perform their best in the test.
