NTA released the CUET application application form and declared the registrations for CUET (UG) 2024 open on 27th February 2024. The registration process will remain open till 26th March. Candidates can complete their application form and pay the application fees on the same day (26th March) till 11:50 PM.
There have been a few significant changes in the CUET 2024 exam pattern. Candidates must briefly check all the details before they proceed to fill out the CUET application form.
CUET 2024 exam pattern: Important points:
> As per the official CUET 2024 exam pattern, a candidate can choose a maximum of 6 subjects from all three sections combined.
> For the first time CUET (UG) will be conducted in a hybrid mode (both online and offline). For subjects in which NTA will receive applications over 1,50,000, the exams will be conducted in offline mode. For subjects with fewer applications, the exam will be conducted online.
> CUET (UG) 2024 in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, and a few Northeastern states will be conducted in offline mode.
> According to the latest CUET exam pattern, a student can choose a maximum of 6 subjects (combining all three sections). These 6 must include a maximum of 4 domain subjects and GT + 1 language or 2 languages.
> CUET UG will be conducted in a single slot for the offline mode, and it will be conducted in 3 slots (each approximately for 2 hrs) – the time and duration will be declared later.
