for accountancy for the CUET exam?

 

Accountancy is one of the most important subjects in Section II
(Domain Subjects) of CUET. The accountancy syllabus for CUET is very short and
brief, with a dedicated routine & consistency students preparing should be
able to cover it conveniently. It tests your recording, computing, and analytic
abilities of the students. It is a very important and exciting subject that
inspires many students to take it up at the UG level. The diverse and enriching
course content and the varied career scopes and opportunities this particular
course offers is a prime factor for its immense popularity.  

 

The Accountancy syllabus mostly comprises of 3 broad topics:

  1. Accounting for Not-for-Profit Organizations and
    Partnership Firms
  2. Company Accounts and Financial Statement Analysis.
  3. Computerized accounting system.

 

The best book which you can refer to is NCERT. Other than that,
you should also go through ‘T.S. Grewal’s Double Entry Book Keeping’ to get a
better conceptual understanding. Apart from that, I would also advise you to
refer to some preparation books and solve mock tests to get a better idea of
the type of questions that are asked in the exam.
