<h1><strong>What are the eligibility criteria for CUET 2024?</strong></h1>
<p>The official notification of CUET 2024 (information bulletin) containing detailed information regarding CUET 2024 has not yet been released by the NTA. It is expected to be announced in the first week of January 2024 on the official website of <a href=”https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/”><strong>CUET</strong></a>.</p>
<p>Going by last year’s notification regarding CUET eligibility criteria, for appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2024, there will be no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12th/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET 2024 (UG). As for the required marks in class 12 to be eligible for CUET 2024, there are no fixed marks required. Anyone who has passed the class 12 Board exams from any recognized university or is appearing in the exam in 2024 is eligible to fill out the CUET 2024 application form and sit in the test.</p>
<p>However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any), and the required marks (%) of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission for their UG.</p>
<p><strong>Key Points Regarding CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Each of the participating universities is free to decide its own parameters of eligibility for UG admissions.</li>
<li>The weightage of the CUET scores will be at the sole discretion of admission into any participating university of CUET 2024.</li>
<li>As of date, CUET eligibility does not mention an age limit. However, Universities can decide on minimum & maximum age limits for admissions to all (or any) of the UG programs on offer.</li>
<li>For UG admission to Universities through CUET – 2024, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservation policy, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.</li>
<li>As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the respective University website to which they are applying and check the respective CUET eligibility criteria for various programs.</li>
<li>Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the exact CUET eligibility criteria laid down by the University for the Programs to which they are applying.</li>
<li>Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks in the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Program unless he/she fulfills the Program-wise eligibility conditions of the University to which they are applying.</li>
