Which Universities Will Give UG Admission Through CUET?
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance test which is going to be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). As of now, more than 250 universities are expected to participate in CUET 2024 for UG admission. Students who aspire to get admission into UG programs in any of these 250 participating universities, have to fill out the CUET application form and write the test.
Earlier the basis of UG admissions was class 12 Board marks of the students or separate entrance test conducted by each university. But, in a move to unify the entire UG admission process across the country, UGC in accordance with MoE introduced CUET in 2022. CUET 2024 will be the gateway for UG admission to 250+ universities (including 45 central universities) in total. Students will be given admissions on the basis of their CUET score only.
CUET is slowly proving to be a game changer for higher education in India. A total 250+ participating universities will accept the CUET UG scores to admit students to the college for admission to various Undergraduate programs (like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, etc). CUET participating universities release their own course wise cut off and admission criteria for UG admission.
