IPMAT Indore vs Rohtak Question Paper

IPMAT-Indore and IPMAT-Rohtak may be similar aptitude tests in nature, however upon looking closely we can see that there are noticeable differences in the question papers which candidates should keep in mind.

Both the IPMAT-Indore and IPMAT-Rohtak aptitude tests are divided into three sections. However, the sections themselves, and the marks for each particular section differ in both aptitude tests. Apart from this, there are several minor differences which we discuss further in the blog.

IPMAT-Indore

It is important for candidates to note that the IPMAT-Indore has sectional time-limits. This means that candidates are expected to attempt one section at a time (no shuffling between sections), and not spend more than the allotted time on a particular section. Below are illustrated the different sections, along with number of questions and time limit for each section in IPMAT-Indore :

Name of Section

It is important for candidates to note:
 > 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer
 > -1 mark as negative marking for each incorrect answer
 > However, there will be no negative marking for the Quantitative Ability (SA) section.
 > 0 marks for all unattempted answers

Also, the aptitude test score has a weightage of 50% in the final weightage. However, candidates are also expected to cross the cut-offs otherwise they will not be allowed to advance to the next admission stage (Personal Interview).

IPMAT-Rohtak

Unlike the IPMAT-Indore, there are no sectional time limits for the IPMAT-Rohtak. Candidates will be given exactly 120 minutes to solve all the questions asked in the aptitude exam, and will be allowed to shuffle between sections. Below are illustrated the different sections, along with number of questions and time limit for each section in IPMAT-Rohtak:
