JIPMAT Test sections and pattern

 

JIPMAT Test Sections

 

JIPMAT primarily comprises three sections – Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. The question and marks distribution for these sections are given below:

JIPMAT Marking Scheme

 

  • Each correct answer carries 4 marks throughout ALL sections.
  • Each wrong answer carries -1 marks throughout ALL sections.
  • If any question is left unanswered marks will neither be awarded nor deducted

 

JIPMAT Time Limit

 

Candidates appearing for the JIPMAT are expected to solve the test within 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. It should be noted that unlike IPMAT-Indore, there are no sectional time limits for the JIPMAT.

 

Weightage of JIPMAT

 

The weightage of JIPMAT on final selection of candidates varies from IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Below is the weightage distribution for both respective institutes:
