JEE Main 2017 result out

The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) declared the result of JEE Main 2017 (held on April 08 and 09) on April 27. Over 11.86 lakh candidates registered for JEE Main 2017.

The candidates can check their JEE Main 2017 result by entering their roll number and date of birth at CBSE website. Admissions to various top colleges of the country like BITS, NITs and IIITs are based on JEE Main 2017 scores and merit list. JEE Main 2017 result displays the actual scores obtained by a candidate in the exam, the All India Rank (AIR) and the status for qualifying for JEE Advanced 2017. Top 150,000 scorers in JEE Main 2017 will become eligible to sit for JEE advanced which is the stage 2 examination required to get admission into various IITs.

Shortlisted candidates can participate in counseling through JoSAA to get admission in desired college on the basis of scores obtained by them in JEE Main 2017 and their AIR.

This year Kalpit Veerwal broke all the records and score a perfect 360 in JEE Main 2017. He’s the first candidate to have scored full marks in the history of JEE Mains. Vasu Jain and Ananye Agarwal, both score a 350 on 360 which fetch them second and third ranks respectively. Vrunda Rathi stood at the top with a score of 312 out of 360.
