The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2019(NEET) was conducted on 5th May by the National Testing Agency(NTA). About 15 lakh candidates had registered for NEET 2019. Unlike JEE Main 2019, it was a pen & paper test. Here is the NEET 2019 Review.

NEET 2019 Review: Student’s Reactions

Career Launcher interacted with students right after their exam. Here are some insights gleaned from what they had to say-

  • Traditionally, Physics and Biology are the sections that students struggle with. In NEET 2019, this was not the case.
  • The Biology section was straightforward. The Physics section was moderately difficult but in comparison with the NEET 2018 paper, it was easier. There were lesser questions from the Waves & Sound chapters. There were questions from Ray Optics and Mechanics as expected. The other chapters were more or less equally represented.
  • Students also found the Chemistry section tougher than usual.
  • Overall, NEET 2019 was easier than NEET 2018. Students who had gone through the NCERT textbooks thoroughly have done very well. There were many questions similar to the ones from the NCERT textbooks. Hence, the cut-offs for NEET 2019 are expected to increase slightly.
