IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria
The admission process at IIM Lucknow for the PGP (2023-25) will be carried out in 2 stages.0
Stage 1: Shortlisting for Writing Ability Test (WAT) - Personal Interview (PI)
1a: Eligibility Criteria for WAT-PI- Candidates
Candidates must meet the cut-off percentiles provided by IIM-L to be considered for the next stage. The CAT overall cutoffs and sectional cutoffs are given as follows:

1b: Calculating the Composite Score for WAT-PI Shortlist
Candidates that clear the cutoffs in the above stage will then have their composite score calculated based on various factors as given below:
- CAT Score: 60 marks
- Class 12 marks: 10 marks
- Graduation marks: 10 marks
- Work Experience: 10 marks (NA for PGP-ABM)
- Academic Discipline Diversity: 5 marks for PGP / PGP-SM & 20 marks for PGP-ABM
- Gender Diversity: 5 marks
Note: The maximum marks for the diversity factors cannot exceed 20 for the PGP-ABM program.
1c: Scheduling for WAT-PI
The official website will have the composite score (based on Stage 1b) for the candidates who qualify in Stage 1a, and the shortlist for WAT-PI/. These candidates will have to fill out a form within a stipulated date to proceed to the WAT-PI process.
Stage 2: Criteria for Final Selection for PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM program
The final score of the candidate for selection in the PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM program for the batch 2023–25 will be calculated based on the assigned weightage to each component of the profile.
