IMI Kolkata is a part of IMI Delhi that was established in 1981. The Kolkata campus has been set up in 2010 at Alipore (Kolkata), by the RP-SanjivGoenka Group, with its infrastructure comparable to international standards. IMI offers a two year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management course approved by AICTE, the regulator of technical education in India. Students choose one area for course specialization from Finance, Marketing, HR, Economics, Strategy and General Management, IT & Operations in course of their two-year study.
Research is a major priority at IMI Kolkata and all the faculty members are Ph.Ds. from reputable universities and are active in research and publications in India and abroad.
