The Academic Performance and Work Experience Score (APWE Score) is derived from the candidate's percentage marks in Class 10, Class 12 (stream-adjusted), the Bachelor's degree (discipline-adjusted), and work experience as on December 31, 2025.
The APWE formula is: AR = [0.70 × (A + B + C) + 0.20 × D], where A, B, and C are scaled rating scores for Class 10, Class 12, and Bachelor's degree respectively, and D is the work experience rating score. Work experience of less than 12 months receives a score of zero; experience between 12 and 36 months is prorated; and experience above 36 months receives the maximum work experience score of 5.
