SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) was established in 1981 in Mumbai. Inaugurated by the then British Prime Minister Hon'ble Margret Thatcher, SP Jain became one of the top ten B-schools of India by 1994-95. SPJIMR is located in the western suburbs of Andheri in Mumbai at a 45-acre sprawling campus. SPJIMR is an autonomous management institute which offers several short term and long term programs. SPJIMR PGDM Admission Process

The application forms for the program open in September every year and close in November of the same year. The application fee is INR 2000 (subject to change). Here are the steps that take place in the admission of SPJIMR:

Fill in the application form and pay the fee
Appear for the CAT/GMAT exam
Candidates are shortlisted based on their profiles which are divided into two categories: profiles based (phase 1) and profile-cum-score based (phase 2).
Students are shortlisted in the first phase based on their academic performance, eligibility cutoff in the entrance test, work experience, and extracurricular activities and accomplishments.
Phase 2 is held after the entrance exam becomes available. The shortlist is based on profile and performance in the exam.
Shortlisted aspirants must appear for an interview.
The final selection of the students is prepared on the basis of composite scores such as the candidate’s profile, academic performance, entrance test scores, work experience (if any), and performance in the two stages of group interviews.
