The Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association was established in the year 2003, with the aim of supporting professional education and providing admissions for MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs. The annual Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT), a state-level entrance exam conducted by KPPGCA, serves as the entrance exam for over 200 AICTE-approved top B-schools in Karnataka.
KMAT is a computer-based online entrance exam that usually takes place twice a year. To be eligible for KMAT, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
