OPEN CDC access and test-centre charges vary based on the student category and mode of attempt: Home and Test centre. CR/NC/OC students can access OPEN CDC 5 as part of their enrolled program. Those who are enrolled in a combo of 4 OPEN CDCs, however, have to pay a nominal fee of ₹149 if they choose to attempt OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre.

Test Series students can attempt OPEN CDCs from home at no additional cost, as it is already included in their Test Series; however, a nominal fee of ₹149 will apply if they choose to attempt OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre.

For 1000 Series students, OPEN CDC 5 is available at ₹149. The combo of 4 OPEN CDCs is available at ₹349 and provides access to tests in home-attempt mode and OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre. A nominal fee of ₹149 will apply if they choose to attempt just OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre. This applies only to students enrolling before 25th October onwards.

For other CAT aspirants, OPEN CDC 5 is available at ₹199. The combo of 4 OPEN CDCs is available at ₹449 for home-attempt mode and OPEN CDC 5 at the test centre. A nominal fee of ₹149 will apply if they choose to attempt just OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre. This applies only to students enrolling before 25th October onwards.

A nominal fee must be paid for every test-centre attempt, as per the category-wise pricing above. Payment must be completed to unlock slot selection and the admit card.

Student Guidelines

Everything you need to know before attending OPEN CDC

• Admit Card: Download from MyZone and print

• Photo ID: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc. (original, not damaged or smudged, no Digital copies will be allowed)

• Photograph: Recent passport-size photo matching the one uploaded during booking

Note: No electronic items (phones, watches, calculators) are allowed inside the test centre

• Arrive at least 60 minutes before your scheduled slot

• Mandatory ID verification and photograph matching at entry

• No bags or personal belongings allowed; secure storage provided

• Biometric attendance (thumbprint/photo capture)

• Rough sheets provided and collected after test

You will not be allowed to leave the test centre before the test ends No request for a change of test centre will be entertained after admit card generation

Everything you need to know before attending OPEN CDC

OPEN CDCs are All India Open Mock CATs designed to give students a real CAT-like test experience. They are expert-curated mocks conducted in fixed slots, with CAT-style section timing, post-test analysis, percentile prediction, and benchmarking.

OPEN CDC 5 is available for both CL and non-CL MBA aspirants. CL Classroom, Online Coaching, Night Classes, and Test Series students get the home attempt as part of their enrolled program at no additional cost. To attempt at a test centre, CL Classroom, online coaching, night classes students can do so free of charge, Test Series and 1000 Series VARC1000 / DILR1000 / QA1000 students pay ₹149 + GST, and new students pay ₹199 + GST.

OPEN CDC 5 will be conducted on 15th November 2026 in three slots: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. To attempt at a test centre, complete your booking (mode selection, city selection, payment and upload of your CAT 2026 Admit Card) by 11th November 2026, 11:59 PM. Choose your city, make the payment, lock your seat and upload your actual CAT 2026 Admit Card; your slot will be auto-allocated based on it. Details such as city cannot be changed once your seat is locked, and no booking is complete without the CAT 2026 Admit Card. To take the test from home, book your slot at least one day before mock day.

Without uploading your CAT 2026 admit card, you will not be able to attempt OPEN CDC 5 at a test centre. If you prefer not to upload it, you can instead attempt OPEN CDC 5 from home.

Students get video solutions, live analysis, live video attempts, GP ka Jugaad, predicted CAT 2026 percentile, scorecard, percentile and rank analysis, All India benchmarking, and a review window for marked answers and solutions.

OPEN CDCs follow a proctored test format where students can attempt the mock only in their selected slot. Each section follows CAT-style timing, and students cannot submit a section before the end of 40 minutes, similar to the actual CAT exam.
