SNAP 2019 Notification

SNAP 2019 Notification has been released. The exam will take place on 15th December 2019 (Sunday). The SNAP exam will be conducted in one slot from 2 to 4 pm across multiple centers. This is the third notification of the MBA 2019-2020 Admission season.

Important Dates for SNAP Exam 2019:

  • Registration Begins: 16th August 2019
  • Registration Last Date: 23rd November 2019
  • Last Date of Payment: 23rd November 2019
  • Admit Card Release: 2nd December 2019
  • SNAP 2019 Exam Date: 15th December 2019 (2 - 4 p.m.)
  • Result Announcement: 10th January 2020

SNAP Exam 2019 Fees

The SNAP Exam 2019 has a registration fee of Rs. 1750. The modes of payment available to the candidate are:

  • Billdesk Payment Gateway
  • Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  • Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  • Demand Draft

If the candidate wishes to pay through Demand Draft, it has to be made in favor of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" from any Nationalized Bank. The DD Payment form will be available on the registration portal when the DD Payment option is chosen in the Make Payment tab. Following this, the DD is to be sent via post to the following address:

SNAP Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduate degree of any discipline from recognised universities with a minimum percentage of:
    • - 50% - Gen
    • - 45% - SC/ST
  • Students in their graduation year can also apply but their admission will be provisional on the candidate obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)

A candidate having completed his qualifying degree from a foreign university is required to approach the Association of Indian Universities for an equivalence certificate to be eligible.

SNAP Exam 2019 Registration

The SNAP Exam Registration has to be done online on the official SNAP website. The SNAP Exam 2019 Registration will begin on 16th August 2019 and will continue until November 23rd 2019

  • The candidate is expected to fill in their personal and professional details. Any changes in the Name, Date of Birth, Category & Test Cities will not be entertained
  • The SNAP Exam 2019 Registration form also includes the B-School Preferences of the candidate
  • After the candidate has filled the form, the SNAP Exam 2019 fees have to be paid through online payment or demand draft

SNAP Exam 2019 Admit Card

The SNAP Exam 2019 Admit Card will be released on 2nd December 2019 on the official website from where the candidates can download it. It will remain on the portal till the day of the SNAP Exam (15th December 2019).

The candidate is required to paste their photograph (used in the Registration form) on the SNAP Exam 2019 Admit Card. At the exam center, the SNAP Admit Card will be verified by an authorized personnel.

Post the SNAP exam, the SNAP Admit Card has to be preserved since it is required in the GE-PIWAT process.

SNAP Exam 2019: Important Guidelines

Some of the most important guidelines that each candidate needs to remember for the SNAP Exam 2019 are

  • Candidates are advised to reach the Exam Center early so that they can get their biometric capture done on time. It is considered a good practice to reach the SNAP Exam Center at least 90 minutes prior to the SNAP Exam.
  • The last time of entry for candidates in the SNAP Exam is 2:10 PM. Any candidate arriving later will not be allowed to appear for the SNAP Exam.
  •  The candidates are expected to carry the SNAP Exam Admit Card to the Exam Center along with a valid proof of identity for authentication purposes.
  • The proof of identity accepted are the Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.

SNAP Exam 2019: Things to Remember

  • SNAP 2019 will be a computer based test
  • The total test duration is 120 minutes
  • The paper consists of three sections, viz General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability; Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; Analytical and Logical Reasoning
  • The SNAP 2019 paper paper will consist of overall 110 questions instead of 130 questions last year.
  • The paper will have both MCQ and Non MCQ type questions.
  • The total number of MCQ questions will be 105 and the total number of Non MCQ questions will be 5.
  • The MCQ type questions will have differential marking this year while the Non MCQ questions will continue to carry 2 marks each.
  • There will be a negative marking of 25% of the allotted marks for every incorrect attempt
