TISSNET 2024 is a national-level entrance test for admission into various master’s degree programs offered by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) located in Mumbai and various TISS campuses in India. The courses offered include M.A., M.Sc., M.P.H., and M.H.A, among others; and are comparable with the MBA programs from the top B-schools of India.
TISSNET is an exam comprising 100 questions to be answered in 100 minutes. The TISSNET syllabus can be divided into 3 broad sections as per the paper pattern:
Each question has a weightage of 1 mark and General Awareness has the maximum number of questions (40) in the exam.
As mentioned previously, TISSNET syllabus 2024 comprises 3 sections. Questions of English proficiency and mathematical & logical reasoning are at the level of class X while General Awareness focuses on awareness about static and current political, social and developmental issues.

The admission procedure of TISSNET 2024 will consist of two more stages, apart from the written test. These are Pre-Interview Test (PIT)/Group discussion (GD); and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates need to qualify for both rounds to ensure final selection.
During the GD & PI rounds, the Admission Committee evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of the selected subject.

After completing the application candidates must pay the application fee for the number of applied programs. Candidates can choose to pay the fee online or offline. In case of offline payment, candidates must submit the TISS copy of the challan to complete the application process.

TISSNET 2024 admit card will be made available on the official website tentatively in the second week of February 2024. Candidates will have to enter their registered email ID & phone number to download it.
It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry the admit card to their respective examination center. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the TISSNET 2024 exam without a hall ticket, along with valid ID proof (Aadhar card, driving license, etc.)
Candidates will need to use their login credentials to view the results, which will be displayed in the form of a scorecard.
The results will contain all details, such as the candidate’s name, roll number, marks scored in each section, total marks, percentage, and results status (pass/fail).
