Structured for self-prep. Built for serious CAT VARC preparation.
Most CAT aspirants prepare for VARC with instinct, guesswork, and a pile of disconnected practice. VARC1000 replaces randomness with structure practice-led, concept-driven, built from basics to CAT-level performance.

Core Philosophy
Reading fast is not the goal. Reading well is.
Much of VARC prep is sold through panic: read faster, skim harder, scan smarter. This course does not buy into that worldview.
"CAT, bring it on. I am ready for anything."
Speed without comprehension is useless. What matters in VARC is not how quickly your eyes move, but how well your mind works through what it reads. This course is built to develop exactly that.
π§
Comprehension is a skill
Not instinct. Not luck. Built deliberately.
βοΈ
Judgement is a skill
Knowing which option to pick - and why.
π―
Option handling is a skill
The difference between 85th and 99th percentile.
π‘
Simplicity and Clarity
What sets this programme apart is Gejo's ability to bring structure and clarity to a section that leaves many students confused even after months of preparation.
Substantially Reworked for 2026
This is not a recycled course dressed up for another year. It has been rebuilt where needed to reflect the demands of CAT VARC as it stands today.
Structure Over Shortcuts
Hacks feel smart until the exam exposes them. This course is built on process, not gimmicks, so that your preparation does not collapse when the paper gets serious.
Practice-Led Learning
Theory by itself changes very little. Here, concepts are applied, tested, reinforced, and extended through graded practice so that understanding becomes usable exam skill.
Built from Basics to CAT-Level Performance
The course starts at the foundation and builds upward with intent, so that improvement is not patchy, accidental, or dependent on random material.
Who Is This For
A complete, self-contained learning system.
The design of the course assumes independent engagement. Students are expected to return to concepts, work through difficulty, and strengthen their ability to handle the section on their own.
β VARC1000 is for you if...
β
You want a rigorous, logical framework to master the section.
β
You are willing to think independently and work through difficult concepts.
β
You prefer a structured system that builds competence from the ground up.
β
You value clarity and logic over shortcuts or random hacks.
βThis is NOT the right fit if...
β
You expect one-on-one doubt solving for every practice question.
β
You require continuous teacher confirmation to feel confident in your progress.
β
You are looking for a hand-holding model or constant external motivation.
β
Your learning style depends heavily on ongoing personal guidance.
Support available: While the course is not built around 24x7 question-level doubt resolution, students have access to a Telegram community for peer discussion and collaborative learning. Regular AMA sessions with Gejo will address broader mentorship areas such as progress, approach, and preparation strategy. For learners who benefit from continuous, teacher-led support, a classroom programme is likely to be a better fit.

"I was part of the VARC 1000 program by Career Launcher, and I give all due credit to it
for my CAT VARC preparation. My entire CAT journey involved various struggles, whether it was tackling test
series, solving doubts, or working through problems in different topics. I also benefited greatly from Gejo
sir's wisdom sessions, along with the VARC sessions, which were particularly amazing and contributed
significantly to my preparation."

FAQ
Common questions, answered.
Yes, if you engage with it seriously. VARC1000 is designed as a complete self-prep course for CAT VARC. It includes core lessons, reading-development work, actual CAT question explanations, layered testing, and sectional practice. If you are doing the course properly, you do not need to keep chasing random extra material.
Yes. You do not need to already be good at VARC to join. The course is designed to take students from the fundamentals to the level of competence required for CAT VARC. If you are weak in Reading Comprehension or Verbal Ability, that is exactly why the course begins where it does.
VARC1000 is designed as a structured self-prep system. It is built through a combination of explanation, application, pre- and post-tests, and progressively more demanding practice. The goal is not just to "cover topics", but to build reading ability, judgement, and control. The design assumes that students will revisit concepts, work through difficulty, and grow more independent over time.
No, not in any simplistic sense. VARC1000 has existed since 2019, but this year's version has been substantially reworked. The core lessons have been updated, the comprehensive testing is new, and additional practice from the archives may also be included where useful. If you took the course earlier, you should not think of this as a copy-paste repeat.
The course is fully in English.
The course will be valid till 31 January 2027.
There is no rigid idea of "completion" in VARC, because VARC is not a finite syllabus in the usual sense. That said, the core lessons are designed to be completed in about 60 days if followed with discipline. You may choose to move faster, but it is advisable not to skip stages. The practice and testing layers are deliberately extensive.
Yes, but faster should not mean more careless. You may move through the course at a pace that suits your schedule, but the structure matters. Rushing through lessons or skipping the practice built into the course will only weaken the process.
This course is not built around 24/7 individual doubt resolution. Many question-level doubts are expected to get resolved through the lessons, explanations, examples, and structured practice inside the course itself. That is part of the design. Support exists, but it is not one-to-one, on-demand doubt solving.
Probably not. VARC1000 is not designed as a hand-holding model with continuous personal doubt resolution. If your learning style depends heavily on one-to-one doubt solving or teacher confirmation before you can move ahead, another kind of programme may be better suited to your needs.
Support is available in two broad ways: a Telegram community for peer discussion, peer learning, and course-related updates; and regular AMA sessions with Gejo for broader mentorship-related issues such as scores not improving, recurring difficulties, or questions about approach and preparation strategy. Initially, AMA sessions are expected to happen one to two times a month, and closer to CAT, they are expected to become weekly.
No, not in the sense of ongoing individual doubt resolution. The Telegram group is primarily for peer discussion and updates. The AMA sessions are meant for broader mentorship-related concerns, not for continuous question-by-question answer-checking.
Yes, there will be a Telegram group. A unique joining link will be shared on your registered email address. The group is meant for peer discussion, peer learning, and regular updates. It is not designed as a live doubt-solving space driven by Gejo's continuous presence. To make discussions easier to follow, the group will be organised into multiple topics.
No. The course itself is the main learning system. The Telegram group is a supplement, not the centre of the preparation model. It can be useful even if you are not highly active, but it should not be treated as a substitute for doing the course properly.
The course includes: 30 RC Short Drills, 30 VA Short Drills, 15 RC Strategy Drills, 15 VA Strategy Drills, and 15 Full VARC Section Tests. The testing is layered deliberately so that students move from focused drills to strategy drills and then to full sectional tests. It is part of the learning design, not just a way of measuring performance.
Yes. The course includes detailed explanations of actual CAT VARC questions from 2017 to 2025. The aim is not merely to show the right answer, but to help students understand the logic of the passage, the question, and the options.
Article Dose is the reading-development component of the course. It is designed to improve reading maturity and comprehension through curated CAT-like articles accompanied by analysis. You will get 65 Article Doses in total: 40 newly curated Article Doses and 25 selected Article Doses from the archives.
Yes. Optional add-ons are planned for students who build their core verbal skills through CAT VARC prep and then need targeted inputs for other exams: NMAT Add-on starts in August; XAT Add-on starts in November; SNAP Add-on starts in November.
Yes, provided they are willing to work within the structure of the course. The course is suitable not only for strong students, but for serious students. Whether you are a beginner, a repeater, a working professional, or someone whose VARC scores fluctuate, the value of the course lies in the structure, clarity, and consistency it is designed to build.
Before joining, please watch the video by Gejo on the page. It will help you understand the design of the course and decide whether it is the right fit for you. For technical issues, please write to support@careerlauncher.com. A point of contact will also be available to help handle such issues.
