The CAT 2025 Slot 2 analysis includes a section-wise review of VARC, DILR, and QA: difficulty level, type of questions, distribution of MCQs vs TITA questions, and overall question-paper pattern.
According to early Slot 2 feedback, CAT 2025 Slot 2 was perceived as moderately challenging overall, similar in structure to Slot 1. Some sections and question-sets were manageable, while others demanded good time management.
No major structural changes were reported for Slot 2- the pattern, section order, number of sections and time per section remained consistent with previous years. This maintained familiarity for aspirants.
Many students and early slot-wise reviews indicate that in CAT 2025 Slot 2, DILR was relatively tougher than the other two sections. While VARC and QA were generally perceived as moderate and manageable, DILR- with its arrangement-heavy sets and time-management pressure, leaned toward moderate to difficult for many test-takers.
VARC - Moderate (10-12 doable), DILR - Moderate to Difficult (8-9 doable), QA - Moderate (6-7 doable).
