 Programme Structure

The BMS programme at IIM Sirmaur is a 4-year programme that runs over 8 semesters. The programme includes a range of courses, including:

·         Basics of statistics, mathematics, principles of management, different functional areas of management, economics, communication, psychology, humanities & social sciences, sustainability, public policy, etc.

·         International exchange/industry internship planned for the entire 6th semester.

·         Live and capstone projects that provide hands-on experience.

·         Opportunity to be a part of the MBA programme of the institute, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria (at least 8.0 CGPA at the successful completion of the BMS programme).

Admission Process

Age Limit

The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2001. For PwD candidates, the age limit is relaxed, and they should have been born on or after August 01, 2001.

Reservation Policy

Reservations are applicable as per Government of India requirements:

·         27% for Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC)

·         15% for Scheduled Caste (SC)

·         7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST)

·         up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)

·         5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD)

Admission Confirmation

Admission will be confirmed only upon submission of marksheets and certificates of having passed the required exams. The deadline for submission of pending marksheets and the provisional degree certificate is October 30, 2025. Non-fulfillment of eligibility conditions will result in the cancellation of provisional admission.

Important Documents

Candidates must submit valid documents signed by competent authorities to verify their eligibility. These documents include:

·         Marksheets and certificates of having passed the required exams

·         Caste certificate (if applicable)

·         PwD certificate (if applicable)

·         Other relevant documents as specified by IIM Sirmaur

·         Canvassing and Misbehavior

·         Canvassing or misbehaving with staff or faculty shall lead to disqualification. If detected post-appointment, the admission will be terminated.
