INTRODUCTION

The Common Admission Test 2025 was conducted successfully on NOVEMBER 30th across multiple exam centers in India in three different slots. The examination tested candidates on Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The overall difficulty level of the paper was considered moderate to difficult by most students. Many aspirants found the VARC section lengthy, while QA involved intensive calculations and strong conceptual understanding. The exam played a crucial role in admissions to top management institutes including Indian Institutes of Management and other leading B-schools.

OVERALL VIEW : CAT 2025

The CAT 2025 marking scheme remained similar to the previous year’s pattern, where both MCQ and TITA questions carry different evaluation criteria. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) award +3 marks for every correct answer and deduct -1 mark for every incorrect response. On the other hand, Type in the Answer (TITA) questions also provided +3 marks for correct answers but do not have any negative marking for wrong attempts.
