They are missing Steyn. Their replacement are only military medium. Amla has not contributed and they really depend on his heavy scoring. Duminy and Miller are woefully out of touch. So it seems a long road for them. Without Amla scoring a fifty, I don't see them posting a 250+ score.
West Indies
They are bowling with the heart of 1980's side. Without a care of wides and no balls. Bowl at the ribs and hurt them.
Their batting has depth and they will be able to chase any score put up by South Africa. I want Roach, another wicket taker in place of Braithwaite.
If West Indies batting they will score 300+ and unless Faf Du Plessis scores a captain's innings, Southampton Africa will fall short.
If South Africa bats first, then Thomas, Cottarel and Russell will take early wickets to restrict them to sub 250. A score which West Indies will be able to chase even with hiccups.
