The biggest help in terms of my mentors I would say was Jyoti Ma'am. She was not my regular faculty but I got in touch with her through a doubt session. After every mock, I would arrange a doubt session with her where we would go through the English and Logical Reasoning, the problematic areas for my preparation.
One of my biggest motivations was when I was added to the LST Stars group (for people who have performed well in mocks). That was the first indicator that I could do well. The peer group there and faculty helped immensely as I was able to glean the views of several people and the faculty were also very prompt in answering doubts.
When it comes to the GK section, I prepared with the help of the Hindu newspaper and also Manthan (LST's Weekly GK Magazine). There were several questions of the paper that were directly from Manthan so reading through it with my friends definitely helped me. I used to remember the Manthan information through mnemonics.
